Host a Type-In Event

A type-in is a free, casual gathering where people come together to share the experience and simplicity of writing with a manual typewriter.

Coffee shops, record stores, bookstores, and even libraries are ideal places for a type-in. Guests can bring their own typewriter or use one provided by members of the Atlanta Typewriter Club. A type-in encourages participants to write at their own pace, meet fellow enthusiasts, ask questions, and discover why typewriters continue to inspire writers, collectors, and the curious.
