Step away from screens and rediscover the joy of writing—one satisfying keystroke at a time. The Atlanta Typewriter Club’s Interactive Typewriting Experience invites guests of all ages and skill levels to try vintage manual typewriters and create something of their own.

Participants can write personal letters, poems, haiku, favorite quotes, or short creative pieces using guided prompts and hands-on activities. No previous typewriting experience is necessary, and programs can be adapted for different themes, age groups, and audiences.

The experience is ideal for libraries, museums, writers’ clubs, schools, colleges, and community events. With vintage typewriters and support from Atlanta Typewriter Club members, participants do more than learn about typewriters—they use them to turn ideas into something tangible.
